The “Polizeipistole-Kriminal 12” (Police Pistol – criminal investigations 12) of the German company Walther is a so called Gauß-Weapon. In other words, using magnetic rails it accelerates a small, 2mm projectile to relativistic speeds. Usually around 0.1 c.
